Overview
Steel reinforced polyethylene (SRPE) pipe combines the strength of steel with the durability of plastic, resulting in an extraordinarily strong and durable pipe. This pipe meets the long-term structural demands of the most difficult sanitary sewer, storm sewer, irrigation, stormwater detention, and wastewater projects.
Steel Reinforced Polyethylene for Rehabilitating Sewers, Pipes, and Culverts
Our SPR PE pipe is great for hard to access pipe that is in need of rehabilitation. The process of installing the pipe is done by effectively and efficiently “winding” our steel reinforced liner into the existing pipe creating a sealed pipe rehabilitation that will last years to come. The ends of the pipe are finished with an annular grout to give a smooth finish that allows continuous water flow. By winding the pipe into place it allows for a trenchless installation process, and can even increase the amount of water flow through the pipe over time.
SPR PE Pipe Properties
SPR PE liners can structurally rehabilitate brick, concrete, glass reinforced plastic or corrugated metal pipelines from 30” to 118”
SPR PE Pipe Applications
- Storm sewer
- Culverts, canals and enclosures
- Structural rehabilitation and pipe reline
